Prepared Investors was founded by a group of quantitative finance enthusiasts who grew frustrated with the gap between the tools available to institutional investors and those accessible to individuals. After years of working in data engineering, financial analysis, and software development, we realized that the raw ingredients for sophisticated investment analysis — market data, statistical models, factor analysis, and portfolio optimization — had become more accessible than ever through public APIs and open-source libraries. The missing piece was a platform that stitched it all together in a coherent, user-friendly experience.
We started by building tools for ourselves: a multi-asset market dashboard that pulled real-time data across stocks, cryptocurrencies, ETFs, forex, and futures. Then we added quantitative screening capabilities, factor analysis models, and a proprietary Preparedness Score that synthesizes technical, fundamental, and sentiment data into a single readiness indicator. As the platform grew, we realized it could serve a much wider audience.
Today, Prepared Investors serves thousands of users who rely on our platform for daily market intelligence, portfolio tracking, quantitative research, and ongoing financial education.
